Proofing Judgment on Tartarus

I just finished "proofing" my author's review copy of Judgment on Tartarus.  I was very happy to find corrections needed on only 22 pages out of 334---not a bad percentage.  And most of the needed corrections are minor, incorrect punctuation and a couple typos.  So I am eager for the next step in the publication process and feeling very encouraged. Not much else to add right now until the book is out there and I can start getting some feedback on it.

My Author's Proof is in!

There's been nothing so exciting so far as seeing my book "in print"---copyright and all.  It is a dream come true and a day I never thought I'd see.  Although I've been writing in one form or another for most of my life (I wrote my first novel, typed and all, at the age of eleven!), I had just about given up hope of ever being published.  My aim is to share the stories which I imagine with others who might enjoy them.  I will keep you informed of my progress and when Judgment on Tartarus will appear in print!

The Adventures of Astrella's Crew begin !

Hi to all fans of "soft" science fiction. 

This is my first blog to let you know my first book Judgment on Tartarus will be published by Wheatmark in the near future.  This is Book One in a trilogy: Book Two will be titled True Son of Tartarus, and Book Three will be called Ransom of Tartarus. 

Judgment on Tartarus is loosely based on the ancient Greek myth of Hades and Persephone.  The adventure begins when a young DataComm tech named Corona Scott comes aboard the retired battle cruiser Astrella II and finds her dreams and ideals put to the test. I had a lot of fun writing Judgment on Tartarus.  I think you'll find it a fun read .
